Thanks so much for this info here. Been trying for days to get AHCI going on my XP boot so I don't have to keep switching the bios setting when I change between XP boot and Vista boot. Dunno why this information wasn't anywhere you'd expect it to be, like maybe Intel support or Microsoft support. I wish the big companies would just be helpful instead of trying to lock people into newer products. "Sorry, you can't do what you want to do, your only option is to pay us more money for products that aren't any better than the old stuff." Bastards. Thanks again.
